America is burning and being torn apart before our very eyes. The tragic & unjustifiable death of George Floyd shocked everyone who saw a handcuffed man killed by four Minneapolis police. It was almost instantly condemned by the vast, vast majority of Conservatives and Republicans.

The four offending police were diverse enough; the man who kept his knee on George Floyd’s neck until he died, Derek Chauvin was white. The other three police who pulled Floyd out of his car for potentially trying to buy cigarettes with a counterfeit twenty-dollar bill were Black and Asian. All three stood by & did nothing to stop what happened to their suspect as Floyd lay on the ground with his hands cuffed behind his back and Chauvin crushing the life out of him.

But how did this terrible incident spark riots in dozens of American cities? How did this unjustified death lead to looting, arson and destruction in the hundreds of millions of dollars? Who is responsible? That would be what I call the MEET Complex, the largely leftist dominated thought and opinion shaping institutions of the Media, Education, Entertainment, and now accelerated with the tools of the Tech Industry.

Their control over what we talk about, how we talk about it, and what we’re allowed to say we should do about it lays the groundwork for these explosions of pointless Progressive Liberal violence. These institutions are now in high gear exploiting the tragedy of George Floyd’s death. Until the MEET Complex is either isolated or delegitimized, we will continue to see our great country brought to its knees & made a laughingstock before the whole world.

It Starts with the Media Narrative

Let’s start with the media. It usually begins with them anyway. They selectively put forward a tragic case & exploit it to elicit maximum rage. The death of George Floyd was no exception. We have former CBS leadman Dan Rather telling his one million followers on Twitter that, “This nation was born with lofty ideals, but also with murderous subjugation of those in bondage, and their descendants. Racism has rent the justice of our national fabric ever since. The burden to right these injustices must fall most heavily on the privileged not the oppressed.”

Teen Vogue has articles headlining this: "I’m really proud of the Black and Brown youth that have been out there letting their rage be known." If you get the feeling that the Media has piled onto this case, you’re not off.

When Zach Goldberg, a Ph.D candidate studying ‘the Great Awokening,’ looked up on ProQuest how many articles there were about George Floyd on May 29th, there were already over 1300 media pieces. Tony Timpa, a white male who died under eerily similar circumstances to George Floyd while in police custody four years ago had just 29 articles written about his demise in 2016 while Barack Obama was president.

Education Forms the Basis of the Narrative

But why are people so receptive to this idea that race is the all-encompassing thing which ought to be what we use to judge every and all interactions between Americans, especially ones that go wrong involving groups which we label “oppressed” with groups we label “oppressors?” Look to the American education system. It has spent at least fifty years teaching cultural Marxism which has pre-programmed tens of millions of Americans to use the rubrics that their teachers and professors taught them to use to see the world. This is why they are hypersensitive about some things and completely oblivious to others.

Here’s one example of what I mean. Imagine that there are four large groups of people. We will call them Group A, Group B, Group Y, and Group Z. Of the nearly 1,004 people who, for whatever reasons, were killed by police in the United States in 2019 the four Groups break down as follows: 961 members of Group A and 43 members of Group B were killed by police in 2019. And 371 members of Group Y and 235 members of Group Z were killed by police in 2019. In other words, members of Group A are 22 times more likely to be killed by police than members of Group B; and by the way, Group A and Group B are each about 50% of the United States population. Members of Group Z are, adjusted for their population (13%) about 2.5 times more likely to be killed by police than members of Group Y (about 72% of the United States population). One disparity has a 22:1 ratio, the other disparity is 2.5:1.

If you haven’t figured this out, by the way, Group A are American men. Group B are American women. Group Y are American whites. Group Z are American blacks. And in either case, the incidence of Groups A, B, Y, and Z being killed by police is almost entirely correlated with each group's share of committing violent crime in the United States

But it is the perception of “inequality” which is causing all the burning and rioting going on right now. Why do people care so much more, to the point of rioting and destroying vast swathes of American cities, about the latter disparity and not the other? Because they are conditioned by years of leftist indoctrination to believe two things. First, that this latter disparity is entirely because of bigotry and that anything is justified (confiscatory taxes, affirmative action, and yes, rioting and looting) if it is couched with “ending bigotry” as its goal.

Most public school and university curriculum is built on telling an endless litany that continually highlights examples in the present and past where individuals from Group Y do/did terrible things to individuals who are also part of Group Z. The effect of this, of course, is to entrench individuals from both groups into categorizing the former as defined by oppression and the latter as defined by victimization.

And because each of us wants to be understood, accepted, and moral, most people accept the that the answer is doing something, anything on behalf of “the oppressed.” Not incidentally, it also means that anyone who disagrees with the narrative or the method makes themselves an “oppressor.” That’s how you get Catherine Prendergast, a Professor at the University of Illinois who says that everyone who supports President Trump is a Nazi.

I have written in the past about how the religion of Progressive Liberalism, which controls most of the levers of power in Education in public K-12 schools and the University, does this. This cultural “pre-programming” makes just about everyone who isn’t wise to the indoctrination hypersensitive whenever the next selectively presented media story that shows someone from Group Y having a tense or tragic interaction with Group Z.

The Entertainers Amplify the Narrative

The narrative that American “education” pumps out is fortified with a consistent message from the individuals who are most prominent in the American entertainment industry—a group which is also overwhelmingly Leftist in its political affiliations.

Just like the books one reads in English class and US History class almost exclusively portray our country and its people irredeemably racist, so too does the Entertainment industry. The people who produce, act out and play America’s movies, music, comedy, sports, television and streaming TV prop up the narrative with a continuous stream of propaganda that reinforces their indefensible and false narrative.

Right now, that means America’s “heroes” in entertainment get to take the tragic death of George Floyd and hijack a case of police brutality to pontificate to Americans about “white privilege” and “systemic racism” from behind their gated compounds in the cities which produce their material. That includes Hugh Jackman, Kendall Jenner, Adele, Meghan Trainor, George Clooney, Nikki Minaj, Jay Z, Louis Tomlinson, Behati Prinsloo, Miley Cyrus, Kasey Musgraves, Giselle Bundchen, Thomas Rhett, Jennifer Lopez, Harry Styles, Elaine Welteroth, Victor Cruz, Lizzo, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Biel, Halsey, Kesha, Lada Gaga, Janelle Monae, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Viola Davis, and Taylor Swift.

Just like education, the only outspoken people who get hired, promoted, and amplified are racialist leftists. It’s incredibly rare, when it happens at all, for these celebrities to break rank with the Intersectional Identity politics and group-think which characterizes the American entertainment industry.

Technology Normalizes the Narrative

These first three institutions, media, education, and entertainment have been around for decades. But the rise of the Tech industry and its control over filtering what we see when we research issues and how we discuss those issues through social media quickly normalize the leftist narrative which the former three institutions generate.

Twitter changed its page to honor the violent Black Lives Matter “movement”. Google, Netflix, Cisco and Uber also have “taken stands” in the “name of racial equality.” While Twitter censors the tweets of prominent conservatives and Republicans, including the president, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is under fire by his own woke Progressive Liberal employees for not following suit. While the tech industry actively bans, stifles, and censors conservatives, the radical Left has open support within major swathes of the American tech industry.

The MEET Complex

These four institutions now work in tandem to create the fuel that Antifa, BlackLivesMatter, and the radical Democrats ignite quite literally in the largely Democratic dominated American cities. Most concerning of all is what Dan Rather said a couple days ago is actually true: “In 1968 there was a sense, proven by subsequent elections, that those taking to the streets in pain and protest were a minority of the country and the levers of power in business, government, and culture were arrayed against them. I do not get that sense in 2020.”

He’s right; much of the government, which tried to overthrow a duly elected president is on the side of the rioters and looters. The daughter of the mayor of New York City was both arrested mingling with the rioters that have shamed this country in recent days. And the daughter of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and the son of Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison each called for support for the Antifa/Democratic Socialists “protesting” in Minneapolis. As is abundantly shown above, much of the opinion and thought generating culture—even most of it—is in the hands of people who openly detest the part of America which they label “oppressive” by virtue of its skin color, gender, and history.

Now the corporations sense a business opportunity and pander to the woke legions of brainwashed citizens being churned out by the MEET Complex. CitiGroup, the 3rd largest bank in the United States can’t just blame the death of George Floyd on bad policing and bad laws about holding police accountable; no, it’s got a statement linking this terrible crime to “systemic” “racism.” The #BlackLivesMatter hashtag appeared on posts from retailers like Nordstrom, the ice cream maker Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Starbucks says it’s about “Racism and the targeting of people of color and of Black men.” General Motors’ CEO Mary Barra’s letter on June 2nd says that it’s also about “racism” while promising the usual Leftist proscription, more “diversity and inclusion.”

The CEO’s and spokespeople for companies ranging from McDonalds, to Netflix, to Apple, to Microsoft, and Spotify have all publicly embraced the narrative about “systemic racism” in one form or another and promised to do more penance in order to please the acolytes of the Progressive Liberal religion.

This new phenomenon, “Woke Capital,” shows us just how extensive is this growing generation of Americans who have been duped by and led astray by the individuals who operate the MEET Complex. The princes of American and global capital genuflect before the new religion of Progressive Liberalism to show to the benighted masses below them that they, too, are believers making donations towards various woke causes in the same way that the families of Renaissance Italy like the Medici’s built and funded Christian churches or wealthy Roman aristocratic families built temples in pagan Rome.

Who elected them and gave them the authority to tell us what we can and cannot say? Who elected them and gave them the authority to tell us what issues we are allowed and not allowed to speak about? If ever there was a reason to vote in November, this is it.

The MEET Complex created the conditions that led to these riots. It has filled the rioters’ heads with the ideas that led them to act out. Getting politicians who openly push back against the illegitimate and combined powers of Democrat politicians and the MEET Complex is of dire necessity. Otherwise, the ideology/religion of progressive liberalism currently destroying American cities will destroy the American people.
